The tram will take you directly to the Schwedenplatz underground station only 300 metres away, an important hub in the 1st District.
In the 1st District, you’ll find everything your heart desires. From exclusive shopping in the Graben, Kohlmarkt and on the Kärntner Strasse up to the world-famous Vienna museums. At every step, you’ll come across Vienna’s impressive sights – such as St. Stephan’s cathedral, the Vienna State Opera or the Hofburg Palace. A further tip to get to know Vienna with your friends, colleagues or family: Ride a bicycle! A bicycle holiday in Vienna has special charm due to the outstanding bicycle path network. After traversing the short distance to the Danube canal – less than 200 metres from the Hotel Stefanie – you can ride along the Danube bicycle path from there. This leads you outside into the beautiful countryside surrounding Vienna, where the Viennese vinemetres and wine taverns await you!
